screeching sound from the rear while going over bumps...

I used to get that same choo-choo noise in my indica from the front when going over speed bumps. Routine oiling of the components should do the trick. It helped me.

It might be due to the gas filled shock absorbers or dampers as because of temperature differnce this might come.
