Any suggestions are welcome.
If the rust is on wheel nuts and on disc brakes, it is quite normal. No need to worry about that.
I am unable to see the pics you have uploaded, please share it again.

The manufacturing date as per the VIN is January 2017.

You can decode using the table in the link;

I am sure it is just surface rust you are seeing.

Need your advise on rust on the wheels!

Dear All

Couple of weeks back I went for fixing a puncture and found that the wheel areas are rusted.

I was recommended to paint this area using Anti-rust kind of painting (reddish/orange).

is this recommended?

Any particular recommendation if a treatment is required?

TIA
Venkat

Re: Need your advise on rust on the wheels!

This area is made of cast iron and has the tendency to get rust. You can get it painted but this part catching rust is not a reason to worry IMHO.

Re: Need your advise on rust on the wheels!

If you want to get it painted, make sure an appropriate paint (high temperature) is used and the surface is sanded and cleared of the rust prior to application of the paint.
As mentioned by Agarwal_Aayush, some rusting does happen to these surfaces.

Re: Need your advise on rust on the wheels!

Rusting on wheel rotors is not too uncommon. In this case, it doesn't look bad, but still nothing can be said through the pictures alone. If and when you are getting this done, make sure it is done by someone who knows the job. Sorry, I couldn't identify, but which is your vehicle make & model ?

Re: Rust on a Brand new Car

Hi All,

Need advice on small rust point on my front door. Couple of months back I touched the wall of underpass while driving and it resulted in a small dent. At that moment I didn't notice that small part of metal was exposed and it looked like a minor scratch. I though I will get the dent fixed in my next service. Today when I showed it to SA, he said I have to repaint the whole door to fix the dent, eventhough it is very very minor dent but the door alignment is bit off. And only that way we can fix the rust issue. I asked him for any alternate way like applying some kind of paste or rust spray to which he said nothing can be done. It is a minor scratch for which I don't want to repaint the whole door. My friends advised it is better to wait for more scratches or major scratches/dents before we go for whole paint job.
I am attaching the pics below. Can anyone suggest me what can be done. I am not sure what to search for exactly so posting it here. If this is mentioned in any other thread please point me to it. Thanks
