Hi All,
I am going to get delivery of my 1.6 SX CRDI shortly. Does anyone know if speed sensing autolock feature can be enabled somehow?
Asking because, I recollect it that this feature was earlier available, but later dis-continued.
Can this be enabled somehow, just like Vento?

Congratulations! And thank you for the reminder. The service centre guys can mostly do it for you at no extra cost.
Thanks for the quick reply Mason! I hope these service centre guys are willing to do it.

32k for zero depreciation insurance does not look that mouth watering. When I bought my verna CRDI SX(O) an year ago, normal insurance quote was 29k. |
3K premium for zero depreciation policy of Verna 1.6 SX is a good deal considering I paid 4.5K difference just a month ago.
Hello
Has anyone booked new Fluidic Verna SX (O) recently ? I have booked one for me last week. I was told by the dealer a waiting for 3-4 weeks. Is this true ? Or still the car takes 3-4 months for delivery. I have also heard that Hyundai has increased the production of Verna to meet the delivery deadlines. Is this true ?
Regards
Samir

I saw a hyundai ad in the newspaper today that said the wait is considerably reduced.

I can confirm that waiting for Verna is reduced considerably, as my service adviser suggested me upgrade to that car & also informed that Diesel Verna in select colours can be handed over in as short period as 15 days.
Hi All, I got delivery of my Crystal White 1.6 CRDI SX yesterday, absolultely in love with the car!
Has anyone here bought the car cover from Hyundai? I am getting different quotes from different dealers.
Koncept cars is quoting 2200 INR, whereas Sikka Hyundai is quoting 1500 INR. Surprising both of them claim their products to be genuine! Both of them also claim that the cover has side mirror pockets.
Zappo: This message is not displayed in my car! If i try to crank without pressing clutch, the screen remains blank and the car does not start.
Is this feature unique to SX(O)?

Congrats Mate for the prized possession. Enjoy and explore the new car. Please tell me how much was the waiting time for your car. I have booked black SX(O) CRDi.

Some dealers wer quoting 1-2 months waiting, some 10 days, finally found one dealer who had the car readily available.
But dont know about SX(O).
In Delhi, there was a half page advertisment in Delhi TOI that the waiting on i20 and Verna diesel is not there anymore and they are available readily.
I test drove a Verna Auto (Petrol) the other day at the showroom and was quite disappointed with the braking ! The car had 3k on the odo and therefore had not been abused much.
Can someone throw some light on this? I drive a Civic Auto and i maybe making an unfair comparison. I really do like the Verna and want to get one.

Congratulations and welcome to the gang! It surely is a pleasure to drive, the refine ment is amazing.
To answer your question, yes, seems like it. It is visible on the MID only if the Engine start stop button is equipped.
Do write up an ownership review soon. There are barely any for Vernas in this forum.

Congrats mate & welcome to Fluidic Verna Club. It's a lot of car for the money spent. About the massage, this is not displayed in my car too (SX). Should be exclusive to higher version.
Enjoy the car & keep posting.
Cheers
Just out of curiosity called the Hyundai showroom and enquired about my Black Verna SX(O) CRDi. which I had booked on29th May. I was pleasantly shocked when the SR told me that the car has been shipped yesterday and should be reaching showroom by Monday or Tuesday.
I have specifically told him to inform me when the container reached the showroom so that I can click a few pics of the car being downloaded from the truck and post it over here.

Stock tyre of my car( SX) is 195/55/R16, Brigtone make with stock alloys which are producing more road noise to my liking, particularly on concrete roads. Please suggest me a tyre upgrade which should produce least tyre noise. I am ok with 195, the grip is adequate. Is is suggested to go for a higher profile tyre to increase the GC? What could be the adverse affects if I go for higher profile tyres apart from speedo error. I have done 14k on stock tyres. Any idea about buy back price.
Just talked to dealer for knowing the cost of Yoko & Michellin tyres. Cost of each tyre quoted was 8000/- to 10,500/-. Size 205/55/R16. Any idea about price will be appreciated.
Thanks
