I do not think I have used a relay in my horns for ages. The normal ones last at least 2-3 years, and I just buy and replace them from the market - Hella or Roots.

My dealer stated me that if I do not install relay, then my original horn could not be installed. This might have an impact on the warranty of the car.

P.S: I might be fooled by my dealer.

here is a good news for Honda Amaze:
Honda Amaze racks up 30,000 sales

Honda India has announced that it has achieved a new sales milestone with the delivery of 30,000 Amaze compact saloons in the country. The carmaker claims that the new Honda Amaze is the fastest of any of its models to clock 30,000 sales in the company’s history in India.

Speaking of the milestone, Jnaneswar Sen, senior vice president, marketing and sales, Honda Cars India, said, “The Honda Amaze was conceptualised, produced and marketed as a family car for the evolving India. We are ecstatic with the overwhelming response received for Amaze since the launch and are delighted having delivered 30,000 Honda Amaze to our customers. Honda Amaze was developed following extensive surveys in India on customer’s needs and requirements setting new benchmarks in the industry in terms of design, packaging, cabin comfort, and fuel-efficiency. Aggressive localization of more than 90 percent in Honda Amaze has helped us price the Amaze competitively. We are very happy that Honda Amaze has created a fresh excitement in the car market and is being appreciated as customer’s proud, easy-to-use and most comfortable saloon in India.”

The carmaker has also stated that it intends on strengthening its existing dealership network and wants to tap into newer markets to cater to a wider customer base in India. It currently has a sales and distribution network of 154 facilities in 98 cities and is further strengthening its after sales network in tier II and tier III cities to 162 outlets in 102 cities during 2013 – 14.

Any suggestions what all accessories should I be taking? Floor Mats and cover are two, what else? I am not taking the delivery package being provided by the dealer. VX MT Petrol is what i have booked and I hope to get it in first week of october.

For my vx did not really need anything as it comes fully loaded . Just bought floor mats . I'd suggest a reverse sensor if you need one as the rear windshield is very high . I did not buy it yet . Maybe later . Also I will buy seat covers . That is for sure .

Window visors , leather steering grip and good floor mats ( Honda OE accessory mat is useless ) are more than enough for a VX Amaze.

About window visors , tell the dealer to show you the box. The price tag says 2.7K including taxes ( add dealer installation charges for the same )

The fog lamps costed a total of 9000.. The invoice given by Honda sd 8k. The sales guy told me that they don't mention the assembly price in the invoice so think the assembly was for 1000.

I have the original fog lamps in my VXMT diesel and they do not have a chrome bezel as pictured above . Check photos on first page of article too . No chrome bezel on any fog lamps in both petrol and diesel cars .

Yes, that's right anky. Other variants apart from VX don't have any provision for fog lamps. Separate holes have to be cut out before installation and two small bumper plates are added to hold the fog lamps. I was happy to see the chrome bezel my self and the quality of finish at the end :)

I actually liked the chrome bezel on the fog lamps . I wish Honda gave it in my vxmt .
