Drive behind a Quanto and you will know what I mean. |
Drove one and booked one too:),
Ground clearance will not be an issue for sure. Its 180mm and its wheelbase is shorter than duster. I am not aware of the road conditions in coorg area, but surely they won't be much worse than where I go.
Ride wise, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I only asked because you said you weren't going to drive like your 800:). If driven in a sedate manner, it won't be a bother. But of course, duster is in a different league.
I booked a quanto since my requirements were cheap service and spares availability. Plus the duster was just way beyond my budget since I would be registering it as a company car.
Anyways, for a family you have made a very sensible choice.
Enjoy your car!
Thanks,

Congratulations! on you purchase. Its a good car no doubt. Seating is very very comfortable. My concern was the kind of roads or lack of it in Coorg.
Enjoy your ownership and do post pictures and reviews :)

Hey Thank You
Sure I'll be waiting for yours too :)
Planning a 5hr drive to Ooty this weekend. Hope to have some pictures and travologue. Hope the weather is going to be on my side, or will have to drop the plans.
Guys,
What's a good mileage tracker app for android? Free off course.
It should be able to capture:
- odometer reading
- refueling qty and cost
- maintenance and service cost
And provide some decent stats
Suggestions please
Fuelio is good, dont know if there is any service cost tracking facility though

Thanks. It's a nice app. Also tried 'refueling database'. That is similar, without charts and map. However it captures info for service reminder, based on Odo or service date.
Looking for something that can capture additional costs. That will complete the picture.

"My Cars" is a free app which provides lot many details. I was a bit lost with that much of details. There is one called fuel log. Simple FE calculator and decent stats. Its paid version allows you export csv.

Thanks @Ampere.
Using Fuelio now. I felt this was better than others because of the option to export/import data into CSV in the free version and it's look and feel.
Carango had options to add accessory and service charges, but that's in the paid version. Otherwise it has nice UI, graphs and export option. Supports only one car thou.

The sweating of the back is the sole reason for removing the seat covers in my car, it used to spoil the shirts like crazy. Also, with a/c the covers used to sweat. |
I have always used fabric cover in my cars. This is the first time with artificial leather.
After around 600km drive the seat stiffness has reduced and it's comfy now. Did a 4hr drive, heating and sweating is not a problem yet. Will wait for summer heat :) for more feedback.
Thread moved from the Assembly Line to the Initial Ownership Section. Thanks for sharing!
Appreciate the credit in your first post Hillman.
Quick question. What profile and make of tyres are you running on your 85 RXL? Does the 110 come with a bigger size?
