I don't thing Mercedes would have this issue relating to the tyre pressure because from what I am aware of, the car is assembled in India and hence, the tyre pressure recommendation would be meant for Indian roads.

Was actually waiting for this since the time I read that it was in AL.

Could you please provide more pics of the seats, boot gate, floor, under chassis, wheel well etc if possible and also the night view of cockpit.

Its all available in the Official review but would like to see the latest avatar of it.

Thank you very much Sir!

Here are the pictures that you guys requested. I was forced to take these pictures on my iphone because my camera decided to die on me.

I have used some floor mats (not cut very well) in the car for now. Does anyone know a better alternative to using floor mats? I prefer something that fits well and looks good.

Great review and pics trailblazin. Wish you many happy miles with the S60. The car in that shade looks great. Do keep this thread alive with updates. :-)

Hi Trailblazin,
Heartiest congratulations!!! your pics are superb and yet it still doesnt do complete justice to the xc60. i somehow missed this thread before picking up my almost new(2013) xc60. got mine a week back and am thoroughly enjoying it.
As for the floor mats, locally sourcing anything for the xc60 is next to impossible. try aliexpress.com i have ordered from them in the past and have not faced any issues. quite a good selection too and competitive prices to boot.

Thanks for the tip! it feels good to meet another owner of the XC60. Do share your experiences with it. It would be great to know your feedback.

Just got some info from my dealer. The service package costs 1.47 Lakhs. It is a 60,000km service that is valid for 2 years. Each service interval is 10,000km. So technically, 6 services would be covered for within 2 years.

Re: My 2014 Volvo XC60 D5 Summum AWD

Congrats on the Volvo.

The tyre bulge is something I also faced on my S60.
Changing to a lower profile tyre will not help in that matter.

When I went to drop my S60 for service at the Volvo Kochi, they had dropped me off at the city in one of the XC60s they had (Test drive car) and one of the first things that I noticed was how silent it was for a diesel.

Once again Congrats & welcome.

Re: My 2014 Volvo XC60 D5 Summum AWD

Lovely rare car on our roads. Congrats on a unique & lovely choice .

How do you find the centre console? Aren't there too many buttons over there?! I guess Volvo needs to jazz up their interior, in the age of i-Drive's it just feels a bit outdated to see so many buttons out there. But love the big switches & button's in this car, so ergonomic to use. Thanks to the Swedish winter!

Congrats on the car, Trailblazing! For floor mats, look up the 3M floor mats. They can be cut to any shape and they also absorb and hold all the dust/water - a good feature with the AC recirculating all the dust inside the car otherwise. They are quite cost competitive as well - I remember seeing 3D Mats for almost the same price as the 3M mats, for my Pajero.

I like the whole fact that the centre console is tilted towards the driver cause it makes it very practical to use. Even the numbers on the keypad makes it really easy to tap in phone numbers to make a call. Clear example of a situation where good design is better left simple. If you opt for other body colours, you will get even more wooden panelling throughout the interiors of the car. Like the centre console would have a wonderful wooden panel, unlike mine which has a metallic rose gold finish (which I did not like that much).

Thanks a lot for that tip! Will head over to 3M and check it out.

Re: My 2014 Volvo XC60 D5 Summum AWD

My grand lady has just come home - XC60 D5 Summum AWD 2.4 litre. I'll put in a write up on the buying experience and the one week of test driving I did in a couple of days. My thanks to Der Alte for his detailed review and to trailblazin for his comprehensive experience write up - both encouraged me to take the final step and dish out a big 50.

initially the xc60 used to have dvd screens for back seat passengers. looks like they have stopped it from 2014.

Yes you are right about Volvo discontinuing the screens behind the passenger seats. However, I believe this happened much before the 2014 version. You can get this installed as a Volvo accessory if you need it.

Re: My 2014 Volvo XC60 D5 Summum AWD

Dear Volvo Xc60 owners

Is there a whatsapp group where you can check if anyone in Bangalore is interested in selling their D5? I am looking to buy a D5 (pre owned)
