So they can afford to deeply undercut the Fortuner. They should do that and then once sales pick up and if the Delhi judgement is revised, they can always start increasing prices. Personally I saw it as a biased review. Renuka never seemed interested during the review. Shapur did a much better job at it. The ones from Australia and South Africa are honest. I liked the review from Auto-Portal too. |

Very Comfortable overall. 3rd row decent for my height which is 5 feet 6 inches. Couple of Glaring omissions is the lack of a powered Front Passenger Seat, absence of the AC 230 V point in the 2nd row and Grab Handles in the Middle Row ( Titanium Variant ). |

^Well it goes you guys got it all wrong. Honestly, how many fortuners do you see on the roads? They run like autos these days in cities. I bet my bottom dollars, 50% of those fortuners haven't ever seen a toll gate ever. My neighbours for that matter have never used their SUVs both, fortuner and range rover for their highway runs. So I completely support her review. After driving the car myself the other day, I feel the 4x4 is too laggy! In terms of gearbox. You don't feel the engine unless you switch to 4th gear. What are the odds of shifting into 4th gear in city traffic these days? Come on guys, give her a break! What she spoke is completely practical in every day conditions and I feel 2.1 engine is good for city driving with that kind of gear box. And btw, for all people who are calling her review biased, come on why on earth would a review be biased? What is the advantage she is getting out of it? You guys have no clue about how this car drives in first and 2nd gear for such a big engine. Hence her conclusion. I am also planning to go for the 2.1 AT with titanium trim level. |
