yes i agree with you on the OHC and let me say that the FE on the OHC AT is not bad at all. And yes even I know of a few OHC Vtec automatics. Only a handful were made

I really hated to let go of my OHC, even though type 1 and 1.3. I really had very good drives in that car. Best of all even though I pushed it, I still got greater FE than most small cars. And boy no need for the horn, just the honda snarl was enough for everybody to move aside. Hope my new ride will do better... I wished I could have kept it - it was still going quite strong. But really no point in keeping extra cars around.

congrats on your new ride dippy !! she sure looks sweet !! if i may ask, how much did she cost you !? i'm askin cause one of my friends has a light blue-silver OHC Vtec he's planning to sell....done around 30k...i have my eyes on that baby...

hey congrats on your buy....she looks damn good.i didnt know honda made automatic ohc's cos my uncle bought an astra long time back cos a/t ohc's were not available.strange???
is it a 3speed or a 4speed gearbox.

That could be because Auto OHC's were only available on the 2nd generation i.e. Post-2000 models. The 1st generation OHC's did not feature an auto option.

iraghava youre wrong

The first gen OHCs did come with an an auto option those are the 98 and 99 models.

Not officially, I would guess. Most likely they were made on special request.

Dippy -- how much was the on Road price of this one -- i am contemplating buying an OHC -AT or a NHC CVT for some time now and want to finalize the same in a motnhs time
