Congratulations on your new ride. Happy mile munching.

Just replace the stock tyres with Michelin 225/55 R17 ST 101W. There will be significant improvement in the ride quality and road grip. You don't need to change the alloys. I did that after being recommended by this forum and I can vouch for it.

I got them changed at Madhu's - Bangalore, after running 20k on the stock tyres.

Just a recent observation on R16s on G variant.

Just coming back from a 450 km round trip between Goa and Gokarna on recently done up national highway and some winding roads in Gokarna & Goa, on a Innova 2.8L, G (auto) variant with R16s-Yokohama Earth-1. NVH levels on 2.8 L are pretty bad.

I must add that the ride quality on my 2.4 L with 225/55 R17 tyres is definitely way better.

Good review. I wish to point out that the rear bumper is illegal. If you come to Kerala, it is very strict here. Lots of cameras every where, you will be fined for sure.

Changing stock tires after 20k km use - what price did you get for your old tires & what did you save on the new Michelins?

I kept the old ones for contingency, supposedly Michelins are softer tires. They costed 10k/tire.
