In fact I'm surrounded by 9 Jimnys! I have another scale model which I didn’t put here as it was not in Bluish black shade. Sourcing the Bluish black shade (the shade of my 1:1 car) was the bigger challenge.

The other model is a Tomica 1:57 scale Kinetic Yellow Jimny which was gifted to me by a friend coming from Japan. Maybe I should find someone who can paint this for me in Bluish Black

Where did you get the one with the most accurate details?
That's the 1:18 which came from Germany. A friend hand carried it from there.

The 1:43 is 1 in 300 units ever made. 1:24 has sound lights and has pulll-back mechanism

The models have come from across the globe.
I make sure none of my relatives or friends coming from other countries come empty handed
Out of the 7 scale models,
2 have come from USA (1:48 & 1:24)
2 have come from Japan (1:12 & 1:43)
1 from Hong Kong (1:64)
1 from Germany (1:18)
1 from India (1:53)

Fabulous Piece Hemanth Bhai!! The scale models are fantastic touch

Your passion and attention to detail is inspiring. I have been thinking of getting a Jimny exclusively for wildlife & adventure trips and once I do I will certainly seek you out for guidance for accessories.

Thanks!

Re: Jungle, Interstate or Metro…No Worry | The story of our Maruti Jimny AT

I added a few more functional accessories to the car.

Top Parcel tray.
Anything that increases storage space in the Jimny is always welcome. I had seen a top parcel shelf on the internet but was apprehensive about it as it might impact the view in the IRVM. During one of the group drives, I checked out couple of Jimnys in person who had this installed. I was convinced that it doesn't reduce the view by a great deal. Hence took the plunge and ordered it from Regnex customs.

Double decker

The tow rope, umbrella, safety triangle, tie down ropes and other small items are now neatly tucked away at the top releasing more space at the bottom.

Neatly tucked away

It doesn't impact the headroom of the rear passengers too.

Interior side view.

As far as the IRVM view is concerned, the top one line of the rear defogger is now hidden. This was where I had the rear dashcam. Now that is hidden.

The top shelf comes along with two side panels which covers the rear quarter glass panels. In fact without these side panels, the top panels can't be fixed. This entire set is designed to accommodate Molle parts.
I added a small pouch provided complimentary.

The one disadvantage of this though is that cleaning the rear quarter glass behind the panel is not possible.

Window sunshades.

With the onset of summer, the sun was burning the skin of occupants. Needed a sunshade badly and went ahead and ordered the MSIL sunshade accessory online. It is a 6-piece set that covers front and rear windows and the rear quarter glass panels.

Got it fixed at a nearby dealer. I couldn’t fix the rear quarter glass though as I had the Molle side panels.

Power supply extension unit.

Ordered this small nifty unit from Amazon.jp which extends the 12V socket and gives me 3 additional USB ports for charging while still retaining the 12V cigarette lighter socket.

It also has 2 LED light strips to light up the storage below. It a thoughfully designed accessory that has a place to fix the 12V rubber socket cover too
