Re: BMW 320D Highline initial review

@morphin1 - you can't go wrong with the X3 mate !
I drive a X3 (3.0d) and its simply brilliant. I did compare it with the ML (after discounts last year it was the same price as the X3) and the Q5 (3.0 TDI).

Re: BMW 320D Highline initial review

I can't afford the X3 (3.0) but am getting the 2.0
How much discount did you get? that will help me in bargaining.
Cheers

Have you considered the Freelander 2? It's a brilliant car.

I have. Don't like the looks of it + not sure how the long term reliability and after sales service will be.
What say you?

I think discounts in Chennai are about 2.5L off the OTR price.

Oh and by the way, I just got Navigation and BMW Connected Drive (BMW apps) fixed in my car recently.
As per the BMW dealer; now Navi can be fixed even on the 2 ltr model ( 6.5 inch screen )

Nice. How much did the upgrades cost? and how did you go about getting the upgrades done?

Cost was abt 2 lacs incl the snap in media adapter for iPhone 4 / 4S.

All done by the BMW dealer; took me a year of constant follow up, persuasion and threats....Lol.
