No problem man, you'd be so disappointed if you were making the shift to a diesel just a few years ago but the common rail engines are just beautiful. A good tip would be to also gear check the car early on. Helps a lot especially if you find the swift brakes a little weak(I do)... will equip your engine to handle gear checking at a later stage. Have fun bro....

Hi Tarun,

Congrats for the purchasing the hottest diesel hatch in the market today, everything about the car is good and it looks excellent in white, though you will have to work hard to maintain the color

Only the waiting period is a sore point, keep us updated as you munch miles on the beauty.

What are the plans for the ICE ?

Interior pics are awaited, enjoy the beauty !!

Sanjeev

Thanks for the reply... will take note of all the points you have shared over here.

Coming to how much did the car cost.
  • 5.10L was the Ex SR price-Chandigarh.
  • Some 14500Rs is the insurance by Bajaj.
  • Total it came to 5.25L with insurance.
  • I had paid 50k advance and then took 2.5 as Loan from SBI. By chance now a days SBI is having some offers: for 1 year the interest rate would be flat 10%, and after 1st year the rates would be as in the market. Then other banks take 600-700rs / lakh but right now SBI has a offer of 0rs as processing fees (which save my 3000-3500rs).
I have 1 question to ask, can I use the same Co (MRF) tyres and just add Alloys to it? I asked about this at a alloys shop and they said that keeping same tyres and getting only alloys would cost 10k for 4 alloys.
Please let me know if this is an good deal? I had bought a new car audio for my old car which i sold before getting swift, I have that Pioneer which i would be useing in my swift.

Here are few more pics which i took today with my Nikon D80 SLR camera. Hope you like them.

Great pics dude, the Swift always looks best in this shade ie the Artic White, what extra fittments are you planning? The stock tyres of the DDIS are useless so its advisible to upgrade them first and then go for the alloys. Best of Luck also post pics with you along with your DDIS. Safe Driving .

If its a choice between changing the alloys or the tires, change the tires right away. That will be much more beneficial and safe compared to alloys that are majorly a cosmetic change.

Anyone knows what price does the org CO fitted tires cost (each), as the tires shop guy is offering just 6500rs less if i give my tires + Rims, if the Co fitted tires are from JK then its 5500rs less.

By luck mine were from MRF.

@tarunmadhok

Congrats on the new buy man. Look forward to meet you and your ride at the next meet.
A suggestion, de-badge it. A white swift looks stunning in de-badged form! There's a thread up for the same. Do check out.
cheers
