Congrats on your new car!

Wonder what is the speedo error in Linea (if at all present). Palio has a negative error, meaning the car shows 100kmph while its actually doing 108kmph. (I've measured using GPS). Most other cars have +ve error. I have experimented Scorpio and Ikon. both shows excess speed. Fiat did not calibrate the speedos while they launched the palio, which negatively impacted the FE too.

@machinefreak,
i have petrol Linea and thats done 250km now. I feel the engine is very slow in 1-2 gears (almost refusing to move). 3rd gear onwards, it is free.
I was at service center and showed this. He said that let the engine run 1000km, it should free-up.

How has your experience been in this aspect?

I have had similar urge to push the vehicle as far. But have refrained from doing so as it is only 450km on odo and as the the car is only 3 days old. The other day during delivery i asked the sales executive, till what time i should not press hard. He said " sir, the run in time is only for diesel vehicle without turbo and not for a petrol vehicle" . What the crap. Can other linea owners throw more light, till what km in odometer, they have refrained from pushing the vehicle hard??

My car just completed its first service 3000km from Abs motrs sector 34 Gurgaon. the car just had a slight squeeek in the right side over hard bumps which was rectified.

i was unable to pick up my car during normal work hours and hence went after the work shop was closed. To my horror the car was dustier on the inside then what i had left it as. they had not cleaned it. just serviced it. i called the service adviser today to tell him the same. he apologized and said i can get the car again, i am pissed with this. they v even offered to get the car picked up and dropped. But i m not gonna send the car there again..

-1 for fiat A** from me...

the car is a lil sluggish in the 1-2nd gear... it ll improve slightly. but it wont be anything to write home about. the car performs much better over 3000 rpm in 3-4-5.
