Very nice buy - good pix too. I am yet to TD a i20. Hope i fit inside. I also liked your study before deciding on i20. I like Fiat too but they have to earn their reputation back in India. Till then better to stick to the known devils.

I know man. Just think of it, 16" rims and some nice rubber. It will be killer..but just can't help it right now. Low on the much needed Vitamins.

my query is, hows the power on tap for highway runs ? what speed were you doing on the trivandrum trip ? and what was the engine rpm at that speed ? i only had a short test drive, and couldn't really open up the test vehicle. however she seemed peppy enough for upto 80 kmph.

i'm more concerned about highway cruising abilities of the car given its slightly lower capacity engine (at least on paper).
Oh yes. The quality is top notch.

Power is available plentiful for what looks like a pitiful engine on paper. Keep your revs between 1500-2500 and you got a nice engine groove to keep you going. On the Tvm trip I had done average speeds of 80-90 kmph occasionally taking her to 120 kmph and she enjoyed the pushing. On speeds of 120 kmph the revs were hovering around 3000-3500 not exactly very sure, cause I wasnt looking at the rev meter..

Not quite so man. It only looks sad on paper. But it performs when it matters.

Thanks man. The other car (spark) is not mine, its my buddies, but it really sparks my heart. Just love her, also.

Undoubtly the best looking hatch on road at present. Swift doesnt stand any way near the i20 in my opinion with regards to comfort and luxury feel that the i20 exudes in abundance. GP and Jazz may only be the direct competitor to this piece of beauty once launched. Yet to see how much loaded they are launched in terms of features. But for sure i20 has raised the bars for the hatch wars. Congratulations on a great buy Jas. Enjoy bringing that pirate out in you cruising on your Black Pearl.

A great car you have there Jas . It surely is a looker. It will also remain a bit exclusive as it is a hatch priced over 6 big ones.

All the best in maintaing a black car. It may have your GF complaining as it will require more of your attention ( cleaning/ polishing), leaving a feeling a bit neglected.
