I know its quirk for most, but here my take. I actually love it thats in the glove box. Why? Well, about a year ago, i had a usb enabled head unit - the on dash types. My daughter always fancied the multi-colored head unit and then the USB drive would emit neon lights. She alays tried to figit with it. Just when i thought she would be responsible to break it, it was my wife who actually broke it. tried to remove the water bottle from the holder below, hit a bump on the road, accidently hit the usb drive and the usb connection points were bent. The drive was dead after that. So personally, from my own past experience, I love it that that the USB is in the glove box, nice tucked away from accidents. |

I read this thread from page 1 to last. You have gone through a lot of tensions from PDI and repalcement of a new car even before you got to drive a kilometer.
