Well, about a year ago, i had a usb enabled head unit - the on dash types. My daughter always fancied the multi-colored head unit and then the USB drive would emit neon lights. She alays tried to figit with it.

Just when i thought she would be responsible to break it, it was my wife who actually broke it. tried to remove the water bottle from the holder below, hit a bump on the road, accidently hit the usb drive and the usb connection points were bent. The drive was dead after that.

So personally, from my own past experience, I love it that that the USB is in the glove box, nice tucked away from accidents.
+1 to that.

I too just love the position of the USB port in the glove-box in my GP :-)

People are so strange. When i read about the USB in the glove box on the Overdrive Magazine, they made it sound like a stupid thing to do.

Hi Guys,

Thanks a lot for the information, will try and locate the drive in my new punto - I am still to explore that arena and yes the delivery is expected on Tuesday.

It would really be great if you could click a snap and upload it here. That way many people like me would be able to benefit out of it.

Regards,
Kailash

Atleast Zigwheels got something right .

I hope that the Punto builds on it's strengths, follow it up with constant upgrades.

Re: Fiat Grande Punto : 1.3 Multijet : Emotion Pack : 4000 km report

I read this thread from page 1 to last. You have gone through a lot of tensions from PDI and repalcement of a new car even before you got to drive a kilometer.

In the end glad to note that you are happy witht he Punto.

Now that B U Bhandari are no longer the dealers of Fiat/Tatas wonder where you get the after sales service.

Its a sure loss for us FIATins as BUB was better of the lot but then we currently have Pundit and couple of others for servicing.
