Congrats!

Congrats CorsaLove! You've got yourself a great car there. Got a chance to TD the i20 Asta. They sure have a feature loaded product (with a small premium though). Perhaps a variant with a sunroof is all that is missing.

Speaking of dealers - I got a chance to visit Trident last week. I was not very impressed with the consultant who attended to me. He went all out to bash competition (Ritz, Swift, Punto, Fabia) with ridiculous and childish comments. I hate it when I go out to buy a big ticket item and I come across immature charecters like this one. Not that all consultants would be the same, but I was just a bit put off.

corsalove, (not yet i20 love??)
Could you comment about the headlights ? Most stock headlights are poor on highways, so far I have not heard anything about it from anyone here.

Headlights are NOT the best... but I do not have any issues either... I think I shall go for an upgrade, still watching the performance before commenting, a very long review from me is pending I know, the internet guy every time says ' abhi aaya Sir' ... not sure what it takes to make a customer visit for installing a cable? Utterly frustrating :-(

My Apologies!

Sorry Guys!

I was not able to keep this thread updated with the pictures and reviews that I intended to due to the hectic month I'm having this july.

I'm sure I will take some time out this weekend and get this updated.

Thanks for your patience and look out for the pics and review on Sunday.

@CorsaLove and other i20 Owners

Hyundai india i20 brochure says "Illuminated Glove Box" but when i TD the Asta Model the so called illumination is missing as there is no bulb fitted on it. On the brochure picture there is blue light illuminating. can any of the i20 owners confirm about the blue light in the Cooled Glove box?

^^^ That what i was looking for. Hyundai India Customer Care person couldn't give a proper answer and i think he is more computer than a human.

The dealer also confirmed there is not illumination and couldn't answer whether that bulb is available as accessory here.

OMG chilled air in Blue. The hyundai guys saying that this feature available only in the European Models not in India. I searched the UK site and there is nothing mentioning about the light in Glove Box and still the illumination feature is available in the Glove Box.

And here in India already its been advertised/projected in the brochure its not equipped in the model. Another example for "It happens only in India" !

The answer is finally here. I got a new i20 brochure yesterday that has the CDRi and 1.4 variants advertised. They have reworded the glove box description to remove the word illuminated. So I guess there is no illumination. I wonder if there are indeed any changes between the model sold in India and the one in Europe. I sure hope not! A bulb in the glove box wouldn't cost much. So I guess it must have been a mistake.
