GTO has a Common-rail diesel plus its a manual .
Hence for the FE difference.

Both are different cars , hence cannot be compared.

aadix, congrats dude. Car looks good. Was always thinking that you will pick up another Sonata.

I see a white esteem in the Pics. Is it another triple member team? I know you already have a red and a gold esteems.

Even I am planning to get one as I read somewhere today only that they are offering around 25%off on the actual price to clear the stock and to bring in the new Sonata…
THIS IS VERY NICE DEAL

I guess nothing wrong in asking to post an ownership report after 6 years of driving it. It seems the owner just bought a second hand V6 and wants to know what all issues were observed after that tenure.

Absolutely nothing wrong, i said necessary action, because this thread by today's standards belongs to ownership section.

Hey Harish,

My apologies for the late reply, the V6 has been the cheapest car to maintain for me in my fleet, when compared to the other germans & japanese.

The issues i have faced with my car were in the departments of braking & suspension, nothing major but quite niggling at the same time, please do focus on both the areas when you give your car for service.

Also the dealers now seem to be having a difficulty in procuring parts, esp the cosmetic ones.

Have only done about 30,000 kms in the car in all these years, have been getting a constant mileage figure of about 6 kmpl in the city.

Overall quite happy with the car & still has a good street presence after all these years.

Hope this helps, what were your impressions about the car? will post an in-depth long term review when possible for sure.

Regards
Aadix
