bi-directional would rotate in both directions. So I assume that you are upgrading only the 4 tyres/4 alloys and keeping the spare tyre unchanged ?

Have you thought of adding the alloys/new tyres in the accessories section of the insurance and getting them insured as well? In case of an accident insurance would not cover the alloys.

Great looking alloys.

If you are using uni-directional tyres the spare one should *not* be uni - that's what I was told.

I mean if the 5th tyre is also uni then you can fit it only on one side of the car. Either left or right, not on both sides since it can rotate only in one direction.

Nice alloys that one Praveen. I am sure this will make your car look really wicked. How about black alloys with red lip?

The same is available in black also , but not available to look physically ...so instead of not seeing and ordering the alloys ....better to get those which we can see ...

What is the quote you got for 5 alloys? When you are exchanging your tyres, most of the dealers insist that they should not have run for more than 100 kms. Its raining daily, so check it out and change sooner!

I read somewhere that the HU should have 3 RCA outs for future expansion. If you are planning to add sub-woofer later, this might be important...

Congrats on the new baby, Praveen. The VDI wit ABS is the best option in the swift stable. Too bad they don't offer a ZDI Version.

Btw, Are such small plates allowed in bangy?

Have you checked in other shops. I remember to have seen it for 21K for set of 5.

Since I got a Vxi, there was no Stock system. I got ICE installed few weeks back. Here is the details:

Thx Shantyrocks - Here also LDi is available for a month , and White or Silver has a long waiting period .

Thx CaliforniaKnight - are u from Blore ?

Ya Sridhar - checked with many shops , One example -hot tracks for 4 quoting 26000 - for Lenso Samurai's .Probably then ones you checked may not be Lensos .

One of our fellow BHPian is getting the same alloys in ahmedabad but for a little higher price so for set of 5 this is a OK deal.

Technically you are right. But what tyre shops usually do is to mount the spare tyre in the direction of the right side. Dont ask why! But majority of punctures seem to happen on the right side!

If by chance your left side tyre gets punctured, then you can use the spare for a short distance. It wont cause much harm.
