How is the drive in city? is it underpowered & requires frequent gearshifts?

How much of a difference is there if you buy from Army canteen?

thank you mr sagar for your reply. the car is NOT AT ALL UNDERPOWERED. it is very responsive. and doesn't require frequent gear shifts! you can pick up the car at 3rd gear even after a speed breaker without any wobbling in the car. the dive in the city is very comfortable as the linea has a very soft clutch, dedicated gear shift and comfortable seats. the average in the city is 17kmpl+ and highway 21kmpl+.

the fiat linea emotion is 69,600 cheaper from the army canteen. if you book it from Delhi, you'll get the delivery from hisar, haryana, which is 200 km from Delhi!

12v tyre inflator

hi fellow members
this is something i had ordered from ebay last week. it is something not very expensive but it has a lot of utility.
this is an automatic tyre inflater which is powered by the 12v cigarette lighter in the car. it can inflate the tyre up to 18 bar. very useful incase of tubeless tyres as they can run punchered for about 10-12 km after being re inflated. it cost me 650, inclusive of all taxes and delivery charges.

i am attaching the pics

Congrats on your new car. And can you give more details about the tyre inflator? Is it available in market and what would be the running time allowed. The warning message shows only 10 mins running. Where you able to test it? Is there a safey valve to release excess air pressure, in case if it gets built?

Please provide the link in ebay and also provide your review on the inflater - it looks like a must buy if good.

thanks for your reply sir, this doesnt store the air compressed. this works just like a normal pump. with every stroke, it fills air in the tyre. i tested it on ford fiesta's flat tyre(tubeless). and the results were pleasing.

@S.I.N.G.H
I too have got the above air compressor bought from E-bay.
Since there was no manual or unable find any switch (on/off) on the compressor, I sent an email to the seller to explain the working.
The seller immediately called me and said that:

-No on/off switch
First you connect the compressor nozzle into the tyre valve and lock it. Then connect the power cord to the car 12V power outlet. As soon you push the connector to the power outlet the compressor starts and air pumps into the tyre. When you need to stop it then you have to remove the connector from the outlet. And the meter provided on the compressor will show the air that filled into the tyre.

Is this the same way you tested your compressor?
