Congratulations vnagarajs, you have indeed made a good choice, but the wheel alignment needs to be checked up at the earliest at the official service center.
I love the feel of this car so much

Hi Nagaraj,
Congratulations of new car. Though I did not post till date in this thread, I was looking forward to see the photos of your car. But it seems like your pictures are making me to wait like vettaikaran or Endhiran release. Please post the pictures when your car comes back to Chennai

Another niggle

The co-passenger side rubber door beeding becomes loose.

How they will fix it. Would they use any glue to fix it?

Also, the co passenger can open the door while running even after the central lock is locked. How do we stop it? In baleno, only the driver has the control.
Am I missing something here.

Firstly, Heartiest Congratlations on you Linea. All said and done, it is a beautiful car with excellent road manners and comfort.

Passenger being able to open the door even when it is central locked is actually a feature available in almost all newer cars!!

Planning to put sunfilm and under chassis coating this week.

Enquired with 3m dealer, balaji agencies, chennai.

Under coating costs around 5K with 5 year warranty. There is some special discount is there for team-bhpian when I refered geeash'.

Sunfilm would cost around 2.8K, need to get more details about the film.

Suggesstions please.

first of all congrats and your new ride. welcome to the club

you can refer my name as dr.ashwinkumar to both dennis and vinayagamurthy there. the service is good there you can go there to get your sunfilm done.

but for the underchassis you can get it done at concorde itself . they do dinitrol at 3662 rs only and offer the same every 6 months check up till 5 years.

so it would be easy for you as they can inspect and do the thing each tme you take the car for service there

my number is 9841196357 you can contact me for further details.

as regarding A.S.S you ave to take the car to concorde ambattur only as injambakkam does no service of lineas. contact me and bnzjon for a few tips to rattle those freaks at concorde

enjoy the ride

Congratulations..

Enjoy the rides with the beauty. Its such a pleasure to drive the car. Sorry to know about the chrome strip. Surprised that it still keeps falling. Mine is intact since July'09.

Cheers, Sam

Thanks Dr.aswinkumar for your help.

I have planned to take the car today to concorde, but still at office, I dont know whether I can make it today or not. I will call you before I go there.

The quality is same whether I do it at 3m dealer or concorde?

Thanks.
