Mutual feelings here as well, especially when it comes to roof. This is one BIG vehicle to clean. I do it on my own every weekend and get a thorough workout.

Sanscorpio, congrats for owning a Scorpio.

My personnel suggestion, this machine is easy to drive in cities, however maintain low speeds in traffic or this will look like a rash drive from outside.

Hi Devdath,
seems the crows in my neighborhood love the gleaming roof of my Silver so much that they invariably leave a lot of thier "love" on it.

@ganesh_bbr
yeah its real easy to drive it with the light power steering and the torquey 1st gear. thanks for the wishes and also for the suggestion, will indeed heed it.

Santhosh,

Yes, i do fullfilled my dream and own a new mHawk 4WD .. , the link is somewhere down the initial ownership reports..., looks like the crows have created a gang which keeps hunting down Scorp roof top and glass ..

Who knows , is it the rivalry between the mHawk & Crow !!!

Cheers
Raghu.

Guys,
Need some advice, have found that the steering wheel has a lot of vibration above 100kmph, is that normal? this is on a nice flat highway-Hosur-Bangalore NH. Dont feel any vibration anywhere else. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

This seems to be an alignment problem. Ideally shouldn't happen so early in its life. BTW did you go through potholes?

as milecruncher said, it seems to be an alignment problem. ideally the sterring should not vibrate at high speeds, it does not in my mHawk.

milecruncher, raj,
have gone thru' a few potholes as they are inevitable in bangalore but in low speeds not enough to do any damage as i have driven through them in the relatively more sensitive WagonR. but what is amazing is there is absolutely no vibrations below 100, neither does the steering pull to one side at speeds below 100kmph or above that mark.

still, just try checking the wheel alignment as there should not be any steering vibrations at that speed.

Noticed this thread rather late, but my congratulations to you, SanScorpio. Please post the photoshopped pics with black B & C pillars and silver sunfilm. Should be an interesting result.
