@Agent, the Fiesta's side strips were my first choice, esp because of the chrome strip. But that's importantly because the chrome strips will be a highlight on darker color of my car.

I am suggesting the black color for your car because of the color combination part. A silver color car, with silver side strips and chrome lining will not show that much of a combination that a contrast will.

I have even checked the Chevy Optra's strips -but they dont fit the Ikon. I did not like the Indigo's strips either, even though they are chrome lined.

Do check my review - including my later posts in the thread. You will get inputs for a lot of these points.

Just go for what you are convinced about, and what you like. It's your car, and we'd like to see it the way you like it .

Just got the Neowheels TITAN SM 14 inch alloys having ET/offet = 32mm

Got michellin XM1+ 185/65 R14 tyres for Rs 3,750/- each and exchanged the stock tyres for Rs 2,145/- each. so actually paid Rs 1,605/- per michellin tyre. Kept the stock spare wheel(13 inch 175/70R13) looking out for fiestas RIMS(14 inch ones) dont intend getting the fifth alloy.

Got some problems though. There seems to be some corrosion/rust where the alloys are bolted (dunno what its called)

is it any concern and any remedies for it

Suggest go for the 5th alloy AND use all 5 tyres. At the very least 5th alloy will give you a back-up for your set of alloys. Check the tyre rotation threads about the merits of 5 tyre rotation, and the demerits of keeping the 5th wheel unused.

That rust is normal, so nothing to worry about. If you really dont want it, then you'll need to paint it.

ok the alloys are in place. Got the NeoWheels 14 inch x 5.5J Titan Silvermachined ET/offset = 32mm.

Replaced the stock tyres (Goodyear GPS 175/70 R13) with Sparkling Michelin XM1+ 185/65 R14 which I feel is the best upsize for Ikon TDCI.
The riding comfort and handling have improved two folds.. I am not used to carpet rides..
