I use the BT extensively and yes this is a known issue. Wonder if this can be fixed! I did ask the SA during the service last week however as usual he stared right thru me

I have just completed 5K on my Figo. Do I need to go for tire rotation, balancing and alignment? Please let me know.

Your hand book contains all the required information about the same, it gives a schedule of all the maintenance required for the vehicle.

Although it is recommended that you rotate your wheels every 5000 Kms, Ford does that only once in 10000, so it is OK if you can wait until next service.

I think most Figo owners have confirmed this bug. I turn the system off manually, the next phone call comes and then the music turns on again (if you your volume higher for the phone call, then the music blasts out after the call ) . It is not a problem but a major annoyance for people who use the BT a lot. Thanks!
Happens to me all the time.

Mustang - I am pretty sure it a ALL Figo problem with no known fix and easily reproducible. Greatly appreciate you passing it on to Ford/Supplier. Thanks!

Metro ford here did not rotate the tyres on my figo during the second service
When I asked the SA he told its to be done only at 20,000KM

The Annoying rear rattling sound is back again. Exactly 1000KM after the last service.

Captain please pursue this with President's desk ford. I too am facing the squeaks problem for almost a year and now they are trying to tell me that it might be because of my car getting rear ended, though I would outright reject their thrash, a collective revolt should help. So please raise a request and let me know your request number. And let me know if you need mine!

Others, if you are facing the similar issues please let me know on PM, it is quite important for me to quote all these cases to them.

Just to be clear it more like chin chin squeaking noise like an insect's squeak.

re: Review: 1st-gen Ford Figo (2010)

A small irritant has cropped up.

My rear wiper is working, but not aided with the wash or water spray. I tried to clear the nozzle with a needle but to no avail. (And yes, there is water My front wash/wipe is working fine.)

Any solution guys?

To make sure that the motor is working please let us know if it is making a humming noise of a motor, if there is some noise indeed then it is problem with the connections. If there is no sound then most probably your motor (or connections to it)has gone kaput and you may have to head to the service center in any case!

If you want to check yourself, you can remove the hatch door's panel (it has four screws and some plastic locks) and check if the connections are alright to the motor.

Mostly the tube to the rear wiper nozzle would have gone loose in the engine bay. I had faced a similar issue with my Punto.

re: Review: 1st-gen Ford Figo (2010)

Sheel,

Had it been a while that, you had used your rear washer? My earlier Focus (ofcourse not here in India ), used to have the same problem, which the SA said, could be because of fluid drying out - due to vaporization / heat. Solution - hold the lever for a few seconds and the motor will pump the wiper fluid back. If this doesn't work and you dont hear the hissing noise of the motor, it could be the motor.

I am already running 185/65 which is above the standard size and the car vibrates at 130 kmph. Also, when I had got the wheel balancing and alignment done for the old car, in the receipt it was mentioned that next one is due in 5K. Thats why I was thinking if its better to get it done.
