My new Blue Chevrolet Beat - Initial Report

My heartiest thanks to GTO for his great review on the Chevy Beat. I got my delivery of Beat LT, Blue on 2'nd Feb. and was one of the first owner in my town! I've driven just @ 300 kms. till now. I would like sharing some small observations and also some pictures.

[1] The ride quality is just superior, for driver and all passengers.
[2] The Auto climate control works superb and cooling / heating is very
quick.
[3] The engine is Euro 4 (mentioned in the Chevrolet's documents)
and is very very silent.
[4] The driver seat is very low and it was quite uncomfortable for me. My height is 5feet 6inches. But my local car accessories dealer helped me out in it. He opened the driver seat from below and put some extra cushion in it, making the seat height comfortable. I have better road view now. People who are of short / medium height and want to enjoy the drive can try doing this with their Car seat cover vendor.

Wish all BHPian's Happy driving
cheers!

Congrats BluBeat! Its a very good car to drive.

I had a comprehensive test drive of the beat. Yes the seat height is a bit of a problem, even I (height 6-feet 2-in) thought that the only negative in this car is the lack of good visibility(front, sides & rear). but that should not be an issue at all if you drive in-lane and dont squeeze your way in traffic jams like most cabbies.

The Engine is very nice & responsive, Steering and suspension also felt very good. Hope to see a detailed report from you soon.

+1. Both wheels and tyres need an upgrade. Congrats on the first Beat in your town. You must be on top of the world!

Congrats! Seems to be the first Beat on this forum DO you plan a tire+ rims upgrade? I feel that is what the car really begs for. Why didn't you go for LTZ? I feel that is more VFM.

Congrats on your heartbeat man. I just love the rear door handle hidden away . For a moment gives a 2 door sporty feel.
