Congrats for your ne car, he looks really good!! Has there been any change in the FE or handling in the last 6 months? Also, how do you compare the interior finish/ plastic quality with the Linea? I hope you have had no niggling issues either.

2 year update:

The car recently crossed the 2 year and 29k km mark and I thought I'd pen down some thoughts, experiences etc.

Firstly, I am really glad I took the decision to buy the SX4 rather than the others. The factors that made me go in for the car are as valid now as they were then.

Good ground clearance
Road Presence
Tyre Size
Steering mounted controls
Climate control
Massive boot
Last but not the least ... Maruti Service!!!

Apart from regular servicings, the only time I had to go to the service station was when the AC stopped cooling. It was diagnosed as crack in the AC hose which caused all the coolant to leak. The MASS got it replaced in warranty without a single protest.

The negatives still remain the same but I have gotten used to most of them.

The standard answer: Depends!!

just kidding. Well, in city driving conditions with bumper to bumper traffic, I get anywhere between 10-11.8. Highway figures are around 14 kmpl.
