Hi Giri, got them at the Mahindra showroom - sksautomobiles, bannergatta rd, and cost me 17k. It was made by gSport and you can try them directly as well, they are somewhere in JP nagar (Bangalore), cheers! -A

Thanks for the review Ankurd.

Just one question. Is it easy to remove the last seat at all without tools? Or would it need to be done by the service center?

Hey ankurd, this is a nicely written review.
Could upload some pictures of the nudge guard and the hella's you have fitted on your car?

Re: Bought a new Xylo E8 ABS

Hi ankurd..

Currently I own a Santro and now we have plans of upgrading to SUV or MUV and so I just dropped in today at M&M showroom to checkout Scorpio but to my surprise I saw another MUV which attracted me towards it..Yes it was Xylo and my mother like it just by looking at the amount of space it has within.

I feel Xylo has more space than Scorpio but I am not sure as how it will handle the highway run (above 100 kmph).

If you through some lights on this it will be helpful for me.

Hi, and sorry, havent found time lately to go thru the site. In terms of handling, on a straight run I've gone till 150 (Which is never a good idea). But i've constantly gone without effort beyond speeds of 100, and its handled amazingly. (Much better than a santro actually, I was surprised how it wobbled when I drove it once)

@DMehta- I'll upload the image of the hella and nudge guard soon.

p.s. I completed 21k kms and the drive is still as smooth as ever. Parked for the 4th servicing at SKS as we speak, I'll get it back tomorrow. Had some minor issues and they are making some warranty replacements.

cheers!

Re: Bought a new Xylo E8 ABS

I am myself a proud owner of a black Xylo E8 with ABS. I have not taken it on a highway yet since it is still in the run-in period. But I would be very wary of driving it at very high speeds (120+) since the body roll is definitely there. But 100 - 120 kmph should not be any problem at all. The ABS definitely adds to the confidence and makes the braking much better. Definitely required on a vehicle of this size.
