For a girl I would recommend a getz. Indica is a little tough to drive for small framed people. Also sometimes physical force is needed. If she wants to get muscular arms then indica is the choice

With my shoulder still in not too good shape, my wife drives me around in the indica, and her verdict is that Tata deliberately made this car in such a way that women cant drive it.

Or, more likely, they should have asked that dumb hunk to drive the car instead of rubbing sun-tan over them ...

Also, my friend is planing for a car and the choices are Getz and Indica disel Turbo.. What do you suggest ? The buyer is a girl(Malang one) .
I'd suggest the Swift for ur friend.
Turbo diesel Indica is not recommended for sedate women drivers.

@surprise: For a diesel first-timer,u've given a greaatt impression about the Indica turbo.

a friend of mine "5ft tall and wirey frame" drives an indica dls, thas the one with the PS. she graduated from an m800 to DLS. (guess who is responsible) aywyas, she finds its sjus fine.
I have to agree with TSK. i drove the indica Turbo. I found it flying in 2nd, and with the PS, the response was amazing, keeping in mind the indica response. I have an indica, nd i find i just fine, guessing i will graduate to the DLG. well, i will finally get my TC'd car!

I bought one in April 2006. In retrospect , looks like I made the wise decision for the time (Swift DDis wasn't yet available..) .It's done 43.5 km and counting..Great ownership experience, a little hard clutch..

Yes the V2 is not manufactured anymore. But the same TDi engine is present in the indigo & CS.

But if you want the same engine in a vista, the TDi vista is there. It is the same turbo and inter-cooled tata engine, only improved a bit resulting a bit smoother, little more power and a new gear box.
