I have tried everything - changing tyres from JK to MRF , changing front bearing, changing air pressure, changing number of passengers from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4, but no joy. The resonance is so loud when rolling at 75-90 kmph in any gear (4th or 5th or neutral coasting) that we feel like we are inside a woofer.

Before I head to Maruti with this, anybody here got any ideas on what this is about? This is not an engine sound, that's for sure, because I've coasted to 120kmph and let the speed drop.
Sounds very much related to bearing. You mentioned you have changed front. check the rear too.

Hello Sir, I too own a Swift VDI 2009 model which has run 1,15000 km as of now..I experienced similar issues at 92k and 110K km respectively..When checked, I was informed of worn wheel Bearings on the front RT and the Rear LT wheels..I would suggest you to check the rear bearings as they are prone for wear around your Odo KM mark. Mine wore out late because I use it more on traffic free roads and highways.
