i don't think so we will have a problem, since its a personnel vehicle, but as you said we will have a problem in commercial vehicle.

and there will be no problem in case of accident, since if we claim for it, then it will not be processed.

Its a fantastic job Speedy_Racer. I have been researching about the 3rd row seats and you have already got it done. Really cool. Can I come have a look at the mod? I also live in Bangalore and would like to use the same people to buy/install the 3rd row. I will PM you to get your contact details.

Many congratulations on a superb job!!!

Re: Experience in Purchasing a Used Safari

Great truck, Great Mod

As a matter of fact, I was going through the Safari threads since last week and came across this one.
Reason to go through Safari Threads: Same as yours, my pet, a great dane.

The only thing is that I will need a truck only after a year or so. And this is the thread which is what I needed.

Happy to see that I am not the only one who thinks the same way.

Happy riding friend.

Well, I do not see any other option 1 year down the line when Aslan would be big boy (considering our trips).

btw, monsoons approaching. Be ready for a big trip this time (considering you being missed in last ambaghat trip).

Hello, How are you ? Is the beast with you now ? If so, can you share more recent pictures of the interiors - I remember you mentioned somewhere here that you wanted to revamp with some "cool" colours

Prem.

Race Chip in my Safari

Hi All,

i am back with an update as i am out of country(Europe) i thought why cant i look for some mods on my safari and then was doing a search and this is what i landed up. by looking at the figures.

Chiptuning RaceChip - TATA Safari 3.0 DiCOR, 3000ccm, 85kW (ca.116PS)

wanted to check whether any of the BHPians installed this on their rides(probably not safari but any SUV) and what would be best significance.

the only worry is that mine is a 2005-2006 dicor 3 ltr engine and so far no issues with the engine and power but a bug has bitten me for better performance also i have called the dealer and he said i can come down to have a look on the performance as they have one installed in one demo SUV.

also i am sourcing the flip keys for my ride. as i heard that there is range issue in the safari any idea guys?

Do a search on the forum.Remember someone getting the stuff installed from the same race chip site on his SUV.IIRC, it was an endeavor.

i have gone through it but i guess he has gone for a performance from Red roster.

all i wanted is that whether that increasing figures does they really matter.

i am not sure how the engine suffers as mine is 5 yrs old dicor model done around 98k yes 98k i have driven it for 30k in one year when i picked this baby it was around 60k..

@Alter Ego, was it Steeroid ? He also had a 3.0 Dicor, and IIRC he had made some changes. Pls check with him.
