Congrats Aparth. I would suggest you go for the Module Grille and Alloys (Brand new OE Honda Alloys available at BK Tyres, call Jitesh if you're interested).

Thanks everyone for your wishes and your suggestions!
Will write a comparison between NHC anc ANHC after the running in is completed.

My car is now running on 205/45/R16 Bridgestone MY-01s along with Lenso Samurai SC-08s.

I haven't been able to take many pics but here are a few. Will post better pics by tomorrow!

Like almost everyone else said, I love the black colour, it looks great on this car.
However, if you don't mind my saying this, I think the alloys look a little spindly. As in, due to the black colour of the car, as well as the tires, a thin set of alloys makes the car seem under-tired.

That's just my opinion though, you enjoy your new acquisition, it's a fantastic car.

Absolutely, that might indeed be the case. Have you thought about painting the brake shoe assembly? Bhpian Bouncer did it to a couple of his cars (a Vista and an Indigo XL), it was a D.I.Y. job and it looked fabulous.

Anyway, keep updating this thread as and when you log more miles. Good luck.

Re: My Black Beauty - ANHC S MT

The car has now completed almost 1.5 years.

The odometer now stands at 14,800 kilometres. I've been getting a mileage of 11-12kmpl within the city and 17-18 on the highways.

The car is very effortless to drive in the city. The engine responds very well to the throttle inputs and the sound of the vtec after 3000rpm is sweeeet!

After almost 15,000 kilometres of driving the car is absolutely rattle free. The car has been to many places - Chandigarh, Jaipur, Pilani, etc. The car feels quite stable upto 120 - 130 kmh but above that it's not very confidence inspiring.

I have removed the 16'' Lensos as the ride quality had deteriorated quite a lot and also one of the rims had been severely damaged on a recent trip to Pilani so planning to put 15 inchers now.

I haven't faced any issues with the car except there is a shrilling sound coming from the car when i accelerate from standstill in the first and second gears. the sound is louder when the car is used during early mornings and the the people at the service center haven't really been able to figure it out. Wonder what it is!

Here are some recent pics.
