My Black Beauty - ANHC S MT

Hey guys,
I have bought a crystal black pearl Honda City from Ring Road Honda. I test drove almost all the cars in this segment and some from a higher segment as well.

Initially I didn't want to go for the ANHC since we already own a City ZX. We really wanted to go for the Laura TSi but it wasn't very practical as I would have to take the car to college everyday and the parking space over there is very limited.

The car has done 70 kms as yet and is showing an average of 10.7kmpl.
The on road price came to 9,05,000. Got mats, mudflaps, cushions and a pen drive as freebies from the dealer.

The drive is really smooth and the steering feels much better than the City ZX and the acceleration is much better too. Haven't taken the car above 80kph as the car is still in the running in period.

The fit and finish is good and the overall quality is quite good as well apart from the A/C knobs, which feel really really cheap.

Here are some pics of the car. Will post more pics by tonight!

Hi Aparth,

Let me be the first one to congratulate.

Wecome to the ANHC club,

Drive safe and have fun.

There's an error of 1.2 to 2 from the reading to the actual FE. Please use a TANK FULL - TANK FULL method to know the actuals.

Get some nice tints and a reverse sensor.

Congratulations aparth on your acquisition. ANHC in black is really a beauty. Somehow I like the front part of the car most, it looks so aggressive yet classy. Wish you many many happy miles. Post some pictures of the interiors too.

Congrats for the ANHC. Black looks nice on this car.

Since you had already owned a NHC before, it would be a great if you can do a small comparison with your new possession?

Congratulations on your ANHC. Looks great in Black. As suggested it deserves a nice tint to the glasses and also a set of Alloys in gunmetal black/silver mixed finish and it will look awesome in my opinion as the hub caps does not go well with this beauty. Enjoy your ride and drive safe. All the very best.

Hey Aparth congratulations on your ANHC-SMT. Welcome to the club. I can recall your search thread. Now how many such Sedan searches some even from hatch end up in ANHC.
It truely is a great car. Keep posting your experiences with the car. For all valuable informations and clarifications keep posting your queries. There are a lot of ANHC members to answer.
BTW, I haven't seen a black ANHC in the forum so far, first one??

Jayanth,

If I remember correctly there are some 3/4 owners already on the forum. I saved one link in the past as it has killer looks and possible all possible mods and it's in black

Congratulations!
The wheels in the photos do look like Alloys. Are they?

Over a period of time, if you can put up a detailed comparison of NHC and ANHC, that would be really nice and helpful.

Enjoy your new ride!

Congrats Aparth. Welcome to the ANHC club.

I remember your thread in "What Car" section, which had almost 8 pages.
After Test driving long list of cars, it's good to know that you settled for ANHC.

Drive safe and looking forward to your ownership experience details.

I remember this too. Great alloys there. I really love the city alloys availble in Thailand models. I really wish if they're made available in India

Hi aparth,

congratulations on your new car

Black ANHC looks great, get some black or silver alloys
only problem you are likely to face is how to keep the car dust free and clean.
