I have booked a Polo 1.6 as well, and contrary to what you believe, there is no (or a very short) waiting period for the car. I can take delivery a week after I decide to. I'm just holding on for a few weeks more though, for other reasons.

@rtm - Great to hear that you didnt have to wait for your ride. My friend got his 1.6 after 9 weeks. DO keep us posted on your experiences. Will definitely help in my decision
