This trip was done by me and it all happened at a very short time.
As I am in last leg of my trip I am pasting these messages from Singapore and boarding the flight today evening back to chennai 14 august.
Way back in the month of June I had planned a visit to Singapore in august and all the process of tickets itenary was planned.
To and fro tickets to Singapore and hotel accommodations as planned.
I saw some photos from kaulampur and took the help of Arunv in my itenary to
Kualalampur.
In the month of July end there was another opportunity to travel to kaulalampur and barely two weeks before my trip to singapore.
I was holding all my tickets and the process to kaulalampur started and 5 days before my departure all the itenary was confirmed
I had to rebook the tickets from Singapore to Hyderabad and the accommodations were reconfirmed.
It was all the more exciting as I two trips in one go and was eagerly awaiting my departure,

First leg to Kualalampur

As the day arrived I was at the airport in the night for my flight into Kaulalampur
The flight was on time and landed at kaulalampur 7.30am.
My stay was three days in kaulalampur and four days in Singapore.

As it was early in the morning and was advised to have our brushing in the airport
and then proceed to Putrajaya which on the way to Kaulalampur for breakfast.
I was late to the baggage collection and the luggage was kept separately away
from the beltconveyer so as to collect the luggage.

After a quick breakfast started towards K.L.
It took almost close to 2hrs from K.L airport to the city after the transit in Putrajaya.
The roads were fantastic with some good views of the buildings around.
I was longing for the first site of the twin towers and zipping past the city made
the anxiety more.My first pictures of twin towers

As I reached the hotel I had a good view of the Petronas tower and enclosing pictures of the monorail

Next day was the trip to Genting highlands it is about one hour drive from K.L.
The roads were good and we had a very clear weather.
With very less clouds around I could see the forests and the surrounding greenery well.

The way you are describing did you opt for a packaged tour. Photographs reminded me of my trip last diwali :-)

It was a conducted tour to K.L. From K.L to Singapore and around Singapore I did it on my own.

There are two ways to reach the genting highlands one by cable car and another by the road.
It was chosen that going up was by cable car and coming back by the road.
It was a sunny day at genting highlands with very clear weather and no
clouds at all making a good view of the plains from the highlands.
The cable car ride is for about 20-25mins with some good views of the forests below.

There are two kind of rides one is indoor rides and the other is outdoor rides.
The oudoor rides could be closed depending on weather conditions so the
chosen rides were outdoor first and then come back for the indoor rides.

Thank you Night_Hawk.I did a day trip to Genting Highlands.
The offers are fantastically low for type of rooms you get, only problem
waiting period once you reach the hotel. Many of my friends complained waiting in the lobby for the rooms to be vacated.

I did the roller coaster ride and a the vintage cars ride.
Lunch was typical an Indian spread and quite tasty too.
After lunch tried the indoor roller coaster and it was fun.
Winded up from Genting in the evening by 5pm.
