Awesome pics. Wish there were better toursit facilities at Hampi. I have been there 5 times and it still fascinates me

How come there are no people seen in most of your photos in Hampi?

The photos probably make the place look better than it is in real (somehow the ruins have never fascinated me).
To each his own. However, having been to Hampi more than three times, I can say this. Just sit yourself in one of the higher vantage points and imagine all the ruins alive with people and going about their lives, 100s of years ago. It brings chills up my spine even as I write this. It is an awesome experience. I bet you will need to know a little about the Vijayanagara Empire though to appreciate the amount of stuff that would have gone around in those days.
Having said that, I dont think there is anything anyone would want to do in Hampi for more than 1.5 days or 2 days at most- unless you want to dig for hidden treasures
