Fantastic travelogue AMOGH

^ Will surely help me plan my trip to Italy in the near future

For me the highlight of your tour was that you got to see my dream car the REVENTON in flesh

Amogh,

Excellent Photologue and what a blast you had! I am simply awestruck.

Driving through those roads and enjoying the beautiful landscape..Superb. What more can one ask for ?

I am planning a trip on the similar lines too, perhaps in the next year or so and my target is also to conquer stelvio pass..

Awesome. How long have you been cycling? Stelvio is a damn tough climb. I did it a few years ago, and it was very memorable.

Re: Travelogue : Lake Como, Maranello, Milan

Excellent travelogue.I am in Milan for a couple of weeks on a business trip and would be exploring Milan on the weekends. Wont be having much of time to travel out of Milan. Any suggestions what all I can see in Milan over the weekends apart from Cathedral and Milan centre?

Beautiful and Most enjoyable to see this thread.

Haven't been that side in quite a while. Bringing back a lot of nostalgia when I read this and see your pics.

Must do a trip there again soon.

Bella Italia indeed. La Dolce Vita too.

Duomo can be seen on a weekday itself, its on the Metro line (Red and Yellow IIRC). There is sunlight 0530-2100 these days. Even if you are climbing, there is not much time you can spend there.

On the weekends (if you have the entire weekend) you could do Venice, Como, Lugano, Florence, Cinqueterre depending on your budget and time you want to spend. Genova-Cinqueterre, Venice might need a day stay. Como, Lugano are just about an hour out of Milan.

Not sure you'll have at your disposal. All my suggestions above are for car-less travel.
