Equating your FIL to Amrish Puri = Epic!! Maybe you should make him read this, he may turn into one
Thanks Yogi !! If you see, I have also equated the FIL to Alok Nath as well. The truth, like most things, lies somewhere in the middle of these 2

Excellent travelogue! Checkpoint Charlie reminded me of "Bridge of Spies" which hit theaters recently. Reminded me of the Swiss-Paris trip which my wife and I took with Jiju and family a year back. Itching to travel after reading this travelogue! Keep it coming

Re: The Sanskari Middle Europe Trip - From Berlin to Vienna via Eastern Europe

Outstanding travelogue. Beautifully narrated. And you have captured photos of people, places and particularly emotions so well. I have read your entire set of posts twice.

It is a dream of mine to take my better half and do Eastern Europe just like you have, especially Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Bucharest and if possible Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsinki. For now, you have given me some great pointers like hostels and cycling to keep things alive.

Please keep it coming. I will be rooted to this post for updates. Once again, brilliant narration, easy flowing and captivating style.

Yes, in all these countries, Vegetarian food is not a problem. Enough Pizza, Pasta, MacD, Burger King joints. Additionally u will also find several restaurants being Pure Vegetarian (Being Vegetarian is the "IN" thing these days in Europe)

And where the food is not to your liking, The universal saviour of Guujus - the ubiquitous THEPLA and Yoghurt from local super market would help

Awesome !

Rarely do I get the urge to read each and every word of the Travelogue and needless to say, this is one of them.

Picturesque Images, Enthralling Emotions, Drooling Destinations ... all in all backed up with some excellent writing skills.

And I sense an intense bonding between You & DDLJ !

Hilarious man. One of the rare travelogues where you just read it in one go. Please continue and finish asap. Loved the history lessons as well. Keep them coming.

Re: The Sanskari Middle Europe Trip - From Berlin to Vienna via Eastern Europe

This is simply a awesome awesome travelogue! I am not a history buff, but the way you have weaved the narration, even that history has become interesting.

I have been lucky enough to have stayed in Germany for a few weeks and reading about Hauptbahnhof and Strasse brought back fond memories from a decade back. Thanks for that!

Lacing the narration with humour has turned out to be the cherry on top for this thread. There is a silly wide grin plastered on my face while reading this travelogue!

Having written travelogues myself, I know how much effort it takes. So, thank you for taking that effort and sharing this beautiful experience with us!

Eagerly waiting for the next installment!

Beautifully written, subtle sarcasm, loved it. Please keep it coming. It would be nice if you can share complete itinerary + expenses incurred.
