This was the first major meet of the Ford Endeavour owners from Mumbai & Pune. There was a previous meet at Rajmachi last year but included members only from Mumbai.

This group is a sub-group of the main WhatsApp group called "Ford Endeavour Club India". Incidentally on the same day, there was a Endeavour owner's meet at Delhi.

Planning for an overnight meet was done about one month back. Finally 6th & 7th April was selected due to Gudi Padwa holiday. Initially many members vouched for coming but finally there were only 8 Endeavours for the Dhom dam meet. Six owners met a day in advance on Gudi Padwa on 06th April at a private bungalow in Panchgani and two owners including me met the next day.

After checking out of the bungalow, we headed to Panchgani market for a quick glass of Strawberry cream.

After a quick strawberry cream, we proceeded to Harisson's Folly point in Panchgani.

The actual Dhom dam circuit. We tried some soft patches and all the Endys did well.
All of us except one person had MRF Wanderer AT tires, but these do not have that much grip as compared to other AT tires.

About Dhom dam:-

The construction of this dam started at 1976. The major purpose of this dam is the supply of water to the agriculture, industries, and for the drinking water supply for Wai, Panchgani-Mahabaleshwar and the surrounding villages on the bank of the dam. The catchment area dams the Krishna River and forms the Dhom Lake which is approximately 20 km. in length. Completed in 1982, it is one of the largest civil engineering projects commissioned after Indian independence. The Dhom electricity project is run by the Maharashtra State Electricity Board.

Yes the Endys look very elegant in white. Among the eight endys we had all the colours except brown.

Nice to see so many Ford Endeavor's at one place. What mods are on the black one, snorkel is visible, suspension mods?

The snorkel is an official Ford India accessory available for around 39k.
Wheel arches are imported. No suspension mods.
