anybody can tell me whether we can go khardunla in NHC .
Yes khardungla can be reached in NHC but you need more than one experienced drivers and some preparations like sump guard and fuel tank guard.NHC will not scrap anywhere if driven with caution, but if you take a 4X4 taking shortcuts will be fun.

I think it has more to do with optical illusion than magnetic anomaly or gravity. The scenery around the painted lines makes it appear as if you are parked on a level surface, but you are really not. Hence, the car rolls!

I have been fooled once by this so-called phenomenon up in northern Michigan several years ago!!

If 800 can do it, then so can a NHC!

Anshuman good pics there, when in September did you go? Me and my buddies were there in the first half of September.

Anshuman, nice trip you had there. Looks like pretty good weather also. But, don't shoot from sitting inside the car. You tend to skip the perspective. This is a lovely location at zingzing bar area you shot.

And this was my attempt there, last year. Perspective does change. Isn't it?

Actually in this place proportion looks unreal. Our transport at zingzing bar.

Nice shot from Shanti Stup. Actually one gets a pretty good view of the valley from this courtyard.

And this is my point of veiw from there.

Great pics, Anshuman.
I went in July and my experience with magnetic hill was identical to yours. My Scorpio was moving downhill, and anyway the incline is very small. But my car did not move in the direction it was supposed to have.
Huge disappointment, after all the hype about Mag Hill.

Awesome pics, Sir!

I was in Leh-Ladakh too last year but in June. In fact a group of 30 bikers from bangalore did Delhi-Manali-Leh and back.

If this is going to be a post of leh-ladakh pictures, I could post some of the pics taken during our bike ride.

Cheers!
