i went for a trip for hegenakkal falls on sunday. was good but it was too hot
i need suggestions on trip to take this summer
i come down from chennai for my friends
preferably single day trips . start early morning on saturday & get back by late night
kindly suggest some ( we plan to take as many as possible)

I and a some of my friends are planning to go on a ride and stay at a place thats around 200 ~ 250 kms from Bangalore. We are planning to ride out on 1st May, return back on 3rd May evening. We would love to camp out at some place but decent, cheap accomodation would be great too.

We have thought of Kemmangundi or Kakkabe, near Coorg. Can anyone suggest any other places with our criteria in mind? Also, in Kemmangundi or Kakkabe, hows the accomodation options? And are there any campsites where we can camp out? Is drinking allowed in such places? Also, if tents are BYOTent, then where can we get these for rent from in Bangalore? What are the prices like?

Any other place suggestions that someone can suggest? We would be riding on an assortment of bikes - Pulsars, Apaches and a RE or two...

All places would be hot. Given that you would be on bikes, I hope its OK with you guys.

You can try Chikmagulur, Yelagiri, Yercaud etc.
