Vinay,

I drove on stock tyres for less than 10 kms. The first thing I did was to get Michilen Energy XM1 185/65 r14 Tyres and Aura Alloys. I am not sure what you mean by locking brakes.

BTW, when are you getting you car back?

Cheers,
Rajan

But patchyboy your post #16 has 3 smileys from your quoting the other messages. LOL

Car Safety:
I am sure you did that, but lately there have been some posts that make it appear like team-bhp has recommendations for rash driving.
I am sure that is a wrong impression to take, but this disclaimer was only to idiot proof the thread.

No offense was meant and I feel you know that.

Guys,

The photos, as promised.

First the damage:

The BMTC driver had the gall to tell me that the rear panel needs to be replaced, on the Bus, and it would cost Rs.850 per sqft. I handed him my business card with a smile and asked him to contact my insurance company. He threatened me that he will have to stop the Bus there and call for a replacement bus and I asked him to go ahead and do just that. I also announced to the passengers of the Bus who were gathered around that the Bus will not go any further as it is not in a position to move and that they have to wait for another bus. They almost bundled the driver into the bus and left.

Now the picnic:
