Nice pictures.
I think this thread should be in the Travelogues - Team-BHP section.

The seventh picture is the best IMO.

But its the first picture that amazes me. Are those buses in wrong lane ? I am really surprised after looking at the image.

Indra, the car is looking sweet. But, those huge gaps between the rear tints in this day and age is simply not acceptable.

The Ikon is looking smart, as always. Wonder why the front wheels are pointing straight though

Nice pics Sen...Your car looks beautiful with those alloys and the background. The pics are placed one next to another. It is difficult to view in one go. Can you rearrange the same please or you can ask mods to do the same...

Gautam, I am not very sure which road it is on. It is ahead of Coco Palm is all I can tell you

. The drive from Puri to Gopalpur was not bad. I drove all the way back to Bhubaneshwar inspite of being told there is a short cut. From Bhubaneshwar it barely took me 2 n a half hours or so. The first 100 kms is perfect after which the roads are good but not GQ standard.

Sorry for being on the wrong thread. I did realise that right after posting but I do not know if the thread creator has the privelage of moving the thread around.

You are correct about the first picture. The buses are on the wrong lane trying to come as forward as possible instead of mantaining lane.

Shuvd - the tints have not been changed. Cosmetical upgrades are still WIP.

Thank you. Yes, the first confusion is at Kolaghat. I read Mitch is in Kolkata, however since I am also leaving the country on Sunday morning, and tomorrow I intend to drive to Mukutmonipur or Gorponchokot, this trip seems to be slightly tight for a meet-up. Will be back on the 20th for 3 weeks, shall meet you then.

Recently while travelling from Kolkata to Puri on 23rd December, we were forced to pay Rs 1050 as Motor Vehicles tax at the Orissa border for the Scorpio LX. Is this tax legal? Will our government do something about it? On questioning the authorities we were shown these 2 notices. Can anyone clarify and react to this, and what should be the course of action to repeal this permanently.
