As per your advice decided to leave at 6 through the Nagarhole route but just near Virajpet, I started hearing a "kat-kat" sound which got me apprehensive. After making a few calls to Mahindra Hamesha, Hyderabad Dealer and India Garage in B'lore, located the service guy for India Garage in Madikere. Hauled the car back to get it checked. I had these weird mixed feeling about what could be wrong. By the time the service adviser came and we got the car fixed and got ready to go, it was 9.45 A.M. One thing worth mentioning is that the India Garage guys are very helpful. Opened the workshop on Sunday for a car that was sold by some other state dealer.
BTW the problem was that the power steering pipe in the underbody had come off the plastic clip and hence the noise. And god knows what all I was thinking but because of all this my trip through Nagarhole got cancelled.

btw, nice choice of destination. it seems that coorg is more chilly than mahabaleshwar.

waiting for more and bring that more with the pace you crunched those miles.

How was the ride quality? I'm sure you had some bad roads.

Coorg is indeed a beautiful place, it's quite famous for tea or coffee plantations not sure?

The last stretch of about 38 Kms from Kushal Nagar to Madikere was under construction. While sedans where doing 30-40KMPH, I was blasting all though out and absolutely no problem. To my surprise the ride quality and stability at high speed was awesome!

Didn't face storm but created quite a lot of dust storms as kept going off the road with impunity

I guess the timing wasn't intentional. The puppy on the left was caught at it

Thats good news. I was of the understading that ride would be very bouncy on rough road. Thanks for clarifying.

I have one question with regards to the T/R for all the new vehicles in AP. Out here in Bangalore, we get the new cars/ bikes with proper registration numbers straight from the showroom.

Well in AP, the moment you buy a car, you are issued a temp reg after paying the full road tax amount which is 9% in case of first car and 12% in case of second car. Once you get your temp reg, one has 1 month to get the reg number. Anyways govt is not too bothered because it has already taken the money

Nice pics, MC. BTW, what nut or bolt did you loosen to make the speedo read like that?
