Foggy Monday morning Jan10th i find myself in the surprisingly pleasant surroundings of IGI airport Terminal 1A. After a cup of coffee got to the gate to board my flight which was on time , considering the weather!. I was glad to see the sun after almost three days of gloom which was a welcome sight. I landed at Chennai airport without fuss(last pic taken while landing) after three days of spending time at the Auto Expo, visiting the Taj Mahal and hanging out with friends. I can't ask for more.

@Nick,

Amazing pictures of the Taj.

My experience is the following:

People who stay in and around a great monument don't ever realize the importance of it. I did my studies in Agra, but during those odd years of my studies I would have visited the Taj, may be once in about 4 years!!!!!

People from world over throng this place, but we who stay at the backyard, hardly care to visit once. I guess familiarity breeds contempt.

But when I think about it, the reality and the gravity of that monument is so huge, that its beyond our comprehension ! We can only look at it in silent admiration. Great going.
