Kolkata to Dooars- A memorable road trip

That's a nice travelogue. North-east is one place I've always wanted to go and have missed out on. Ofcourse, I've been to Darjeeling, sikkim, crossed the teesta. been to phuntsholing in bhutan. Been to nepal as well. Though we crossed siliguri and jalpaiguri, never thought that one would find such idyllic places there.
These trips were in 1980s, when travel on tours was a luxury! Your travelogue is a reminder for me to mark my calendar for a re-visit.

Fantastic travelogue - made my nostalgic. I visited Jaldapara a few times many years back, and stayed for a new nights at the Madarihat and Hollong bungalow. Would love to go back to Hollong someday.

Your travelogue is inspiring me to drive down to Kolkata and then onwards to Dooars!
