hey dream diesel, nice travelogue! just happened to notice a yellow 4 wheeler sticker on your car ! the panorama shot was awesome! I was supposed to make a trip to Ooty this month, but plans somehow got shelved; temporarily. could u explain on the 3 M detailing part? as to what all is done in that, which place do u prefer and also the cost of it! I have some scratches on my car will this take care of the scratches too?

Thank you swiftnfurious. The yellow sticker on the bottom right corner of the windshield is the vehicle sticker for the company I work for.

I too loved the Panorama shot. Required lots of patience and steady hands to click this one.

I have to buy a tripod for the new camera so I can start taking more panorama shots in my future roadtrips. The season at Ooty is going to start by April. Thats when the place gets really crowded and accomodation is pretty expensive. Plan a trip before April or sometime after June.

Yet to get the 3M Exterior detailing done for my Swift. Will get it done within a months time. The job takes about 3-4 hrs. Its recommended for cars above 2 years when the paint gets to become dull (looses the wet look) and lots of swirl/minor scratches appear on the paint. There is a 3M direct shop near the Indiranagar BDA complex. Somewhere near the Goodyear showroom there. Around 3k for the treatment. Many Car manufacturer service centers also do this.

Great. Yes, I have been peeping in the other meet thread. You guys have fun. I wont be able to make for meets for atleast couple of months with the loads of work I have got
