Guess we frightened him off. Aniketi, continue the log. You can search for the helmet in your closet later!

Lavasa is good. Be prepared for concrete dust though. Couple of restaurants are there.

Anybody thinking about buying property in Lavasa? For a retirement home or for investment purposes? I know a few who think Lavasa is the next big real estate investment destination, and have booked apartments there.

That's a concept that wouldn't go with our mindset SmartCat. Lavasa is so far from city. You can probably use it as a summer home and spend 3 months there.
We are culturally from a background where we retire and want to start grooming the grandchildren, try marrying off all the young people in the family (how so distant) to other young people we know off and those kinds of things

One needs to drive 2 - 3 hours to reach the nearest rail head from lavasa. Doesn't fit in to my retirement plan.

when you aren't wearing a helmet ( a basic safety gear) how could you be thinking of wearing a jacket?
glad you didn't mention about gloves or knee-pads

it is sad to see people who know what a good helmet can do in the event of an unfortunate crash avoiding it,
