Am planning a driving holiday in my Innova from Mumbai to Kodaikanal, Ooty, Coorg and back from 8 Apr to 21 Apr. Which would be the best and fastest routes?

Itinerary as follows:
i) Depart Mumbai 8-Apr @ 3 pm and reach Kodai 9-Apr by say noon. Possible?
ii) Kodai to Ooty - 13-Apr @ 7 am; by when would I be in Ooty?
iii) Ooty to Coorg - 17-Apr @ 7 am; by when would I be in Coorg?
iv) Coorg to Mumbai - 21-Apr @ 7 am; by when would I be in Mumbai?

Am the principal driver; wife can assist to help cover distances and to manage time.

For Mumbai to Kodai what route are you planning to take? Also do you plan to drive non stop? While it is possible to reach the next day afternoon you also need to consider the fact that the distance is atleast 1200+ kms and also involves night drive as you are planning to leave at 3 in the afternoon
You will also encounter the evening traffic between Pune & Kolhapur

Yes, you can reach Kodai before noon, assuming you do BOmbay-Bangalore in 14 hours (Bangalore 5 am), and take 8 hours to Kodaikanal (say, 2 pm).

KOdai-Ooty, you should take 7-8 hours, assuming you bypass Coimbatore city through the Karumathampatti-Anur-Mettupalayam route.

Coorg - I would suggest a stop over in Wayanadu also (maybe at Meppadi, Vytiri or Manathavady region). If going direct, the drive should take 7-9 hours. If you want to be faster than that, you can go via Mysore, which is possible in 6-7 hours.

Coorg to Bombay by the fastest route is via Mysore & Bangalore, that should take you minimum 20 hours. Ideally, take a break at Belgaum or Kolhapur.
