Excellent photographs but that lion on the rocks in the first page is definitely looking a little too high coloured. Suffering from jaundice , me thinks.. lol

You've got it all from dancing Masai-dueling Gazelles-migrating Wildebeests-Cape Buffalo-Elephants-Giraffe-Hippo-Zebra-Flamingo-Caribu stork-Cheetah and Lions-the beautiful African landscape and sunset.

Nice photographs and travelogue just out of the African Animal Encyclopedia.

Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful pictures. I have been to Kruger national park in South Africa and multiple times to Pilansberg nature reserve near Pritoria during my 1.5 years long stay in SA. The snaps reminded me of the days we spend in the wilderness. I unfortunately lost all my snaps of S.A due to a computer crash

Beautiful. I am sure you had a wonderful time with those friends

Ya, we need narration. Whats happening in the 041.jpg pics? Is that person hanging on something?

The 020.jpg reminds of the Kaadhala song from Avvai Sanmughi !!

This thread needs rating , definitely. Done!

the fact that only a thin plastic sheet seperates u from the animals around u is an experience, especially when u can hear the lions roaring nearby and the guide tells u that if u have any problem run to the vehicle..

..wonderful, better late than never, even after 3+ years the pictures are time im-memorial.

You seems to have really slept with the animals or in other words, a glorious action filled night with animals

that is how a safari should be, just reading about it is exciting, i can imagine how the real experience would be.

thanks for sharing these details, can you post some details about the travel arranger, contact numbers (if you still have them) etc.

@Tomtom
Lovely pics man!! Africa is one helluva beautiful place whether it is Serengeti or Masai Mara or Kruger National Park and many many more places.

Please google your memory and put a writeup and let us live the experience vicariously.

Can you also please upload any videos you have from the trip. Oh btw, check out the 'Battle at Kruger' which is an amateur wildlife video.

@tomtom: Spectacular pics!
BTW is it just the pic or is that Land Rover dangerously close to the African elephant?

The animals should be quite used to people watching them.

For the lions, it looks like they are in a resort with food wandering around if they feel hungry.

Great photos, if you could just add information about how your travel started with prices, it would be jolly good.
