Aheek Sir,
Your log is like a live channel dedicated to pench. As we are not as lucky as you are, to be spending so much time in the jungles, your log well compensates to our eagerness to be on these safaris.

Aheek Sir,
Truly the photo and video of the leopard are very good, nice sighting.
For me, the Malabar Hornbill shot takes the marks for, the tight framing, shutter freeze, clarity and perfect exposure.

Sir. Travelled Pench in last week of March and sighted "Shahrukh" together. Name can be decoded from the handle

Whoa Doc! Those are some real interesting captures. Never thought I'd be appreciating pictures of Monkeys.

OT: Reminds me of an incident, when I saw a Langur being slapped by the common variety Monkey as the former jumped onto a branch where the latter was sitting.

BTW, I'm guessing that those (in your pics) are Langurs. Am I correct?

History repeats in Pench today morning. Superb sighting of 5 cubs and Tigress crossing road right in front of my Gypsy. I had a very similar sighting of the previous litter of the same tigress in 2008.

At present I am floating in a swimming pool and watching great bear and other constellations in the sky amidst a power failure in Pench.

Celebrating today's sighting by spending the night partying in Pench.

I have been surprised today at Pench by team bhp member 'safari_beast' (gurpreet) who's here for 3 drives. I am being overwhelmed by the superb support shown by fellow team members for Pench.

Superb sighting of cubs in water again on a monday morning with Gurpreet aka 'safari_beast'. Also witnessed a valiant fight between a mother deer and 2 jackals who killed her baby. although the fawn died, the mother continued fighting the jackals over 3 hours and was standing guarding the corpse of her baby when we had to abandon vigil. Gurpreet got a great video of the entire sequence. Request him to upload the pics.
Gurpreet, you are one lucky guy !

I am back again to Nagpur and my patients. Will upload some of my pics by tonight.

Very sad for the fawn and her mother, but this is the law of the jungle.

For once, both, the Pench Jungle residents and the hospital residents shall heave a sigh of relief. And so do I as well as some respite from the 'mental & visula torture"...
